This Q1 quality coffee, the highest in Ethiopia, is grown by farmers near the Bedaye station, owned by Khalid Shifa and his brother Ahmed Abateman. After harvesting, cherries are brought to the station, pulped, and washed daily to remove mucilage.
The coffee then dries for two weeks on one of Bedaye's 240 drying beds, with the team ensuring even drying to enhance quality.
