This spring, on May 2-3, Unity Coffee Roasters, together with Marre Terra, will organize Pre Open de Cata 2026 Portugal — a qualifying coffee tasting competition based on the SCA Cup Tasters format.
This event is designed for those who want to test their sensory skills at a high level, calibrate their palate, and taste coffees prepared to Open de Cata standard.

Open de Cata 2026 is the ultimate challenge for the world’s best coffee tasters.
The Grand Final will take place on May 29–30, 2026, bringing together top competitors, an exceptional selection of coffees, and a €25,000 prize pool, making it one of the most prestigious and best-awarded coffee tasting championships in the industry.
