AeroPress Championship: our journey from Portugal to the World stage

This summer marked a major milestone for our team — our Head Barista, Lisa, won the AeroPress Portugal Championship 2025.
She didn’t just participate — she took first place, earning the right to represent Portugal on the world stage. We couldn’t be prouder.

In December, our team travelled together with Lisa to Seoul, South Korea, for the World AeroPress Championship 2025. Two intense days filled with competition, emotions, scale, and that unmistakable buzz that only world-level events can create.

What does this win really mean to us?

Of course, it means pride. Immense pride in Lisa — her dedication, talent, and calm strength under pressure.
But this victory is also about something bigger.

Being part of coffee culture — and even having a small hand in shaping it. Meeting professionals from all over the world. Organising events, building communities, attracting partners and sponsors. All of this became possible after we moved to Portugal, built a team with Portuguese-speaking locals, and found a synergy that continues to open doors we couldn’t have imagined before.

Just two years ago, could we really have pictured ourselves representing Portugal at a World Championship in Korea?

We didn’t win the world title.
But we gained something even greater ❤️

Quality behind every cup

Beyond competitions, Lisa plays a key role in what reaches your cup every day. As our Head Barista, she oversees product quality across the board — from selection to final approval.
Every coffee bean you purchase on our website goes through Lisa’s hands and quality control, ensuring consistency, balance, and the highest standards we stand for.

Our takeaways

Seoul showed us the scale of what’s possible. It reminded us why we do what we do — and how far passion, teamwork, and trust can take you. The support, the nerves, the shared excitement backstage and in the crowd — these are moments that shape not just competitions, but people and teams.

What’s next?

More growth. More learning. More events.
And a deeper commitment to contributing to the coffee culture we’re so grateful to be part of.

This journey is only getting started — and we’re excited for everything that’s still ahead.

Thank you, Portugal
